Who means what to me.

I thought since I don't really have anything much to write about, that I would write about a bunch of people and say what they mean to me. I will start will family members and go on from there.

First there is my dad. Who I sometimes call daddy! :) He is SO important to me and I have no idea what I would to without him. I would absolutely die! He teaches me about the Lord and about things that lead me further in my christian life. He is loving and kind, and ALWAYS helps me with anything I need help with. I LOVE YOU DAD!

Next there is my mom. I mostly call her mommy! She is AMAZING! I can't live without her! First she is the worlds greatest cook, (No offence to anyone!) she does much more than I do, even if she doesn't want to. She is the such a generous person too! She always puts others before herself, (It makes me want to be more and more like her!) She also helps guide me in my christian life! I LOVE YOU MOM!

Now there is my brother, Calvin! OH BOY! Well, what can I say about Cal??? Except that he is one of the funniest people I know. He is A-L-W-A-Y-S smiling! He laughs more than I feel like smiling sometimes. He puts a smile on my face everytime I see him. (Even if it's not on the outside!) He is a great christian man and is loving to everyone. I rarely say this, though I ALWAYS think it, I LOVE YOU CAL!

Then comes Kait! There is so much great things to say that I will start with this. Kaitlin is one of the kindest people I have ever known. She is a great blogger, (actually the one who made me want a blog more and more) and she is very funny. One thing she is known best for in my family, is her "One liners" You have no idea! And her puns! Oh boy! Maybe I will skip that part. :) She is the best sister I could ever ask for and, I LOVE YOU KAIT!

I guess now I will go through my friends!

Janece- She is thirteen just like me and is hilarious! She has the most beautiful smile I have ever seen! She laughs at just about anything and is a great singer. She makes the wierdest faces ever! She and I talk every minute we can!!! She is my best friend and I LUV HER!

Now there is Ari- She is also thirteen and probably the strangest person I know! That's what makes her so awesome! She goes to my church and is extremly funny! (I don't think there are any of my friends that AREN"T funny!) Anyway, she makes me laugh all the time. She is another one of my best friends! I LUV HER!

Next come Nate! I haven't know him all that long but we are great friends! And another one of my best friends! He puts a smile on my face everytime I talk to him. He is also thirteen and is a christian! He is so funny, and one of the nicest guys I know! He is like a brother to me and that's why I LUV HIM!

Now there is Sydney! She is thirteen too! She goes to school with me as well as Janece and Ari. She is very funny and makes me smile. We haven't known each other that long but she is another one of my best friends! I LUV HER!

The list really does go on and on so if I didn't list your name please don't feel left out!

A Good Heart

I was listening to Adventures in Odyssey, and there was an episode with a young girl named Julie. Julie had recently overheard that a boy that used to go to her school had died about a week ago. She tried to figure out what his last name was, and when she did, it sounded very familiar to her. The name did ring a bell, she had remembered that the box where she kept every report card and letter from friends and family contained a letter from the boy. It was a note saying that he had a crush on her in the third grade and it was signed MIKE. Later that day Julie visited Mike's mother and talked to her for quite sometime. Mike's mother had told her that Mike hadn't ever had a lot of friends and told her what some of his interests were. Julie realized that the week before she had attended the same Jazz concert Mike had attended. She thought about it and nobody ever really payed ANY attention to Mike. He was a lonely kid, with no friends. He was a Christian boy and loved to draw, write comics and listen to jazz music. Julie wished that he hadn't have died, she could have become good friends with him. A few days later at school Julie sat alone at lunch. She felt so alone without her friends, and realized that Mike must have felt so sad and lonely. Julies friend Heather came over to see what was wrong and Julie explained that she wanted to know what it felt like to be alone. Julie noticed that there was a girl sitting alone eating her lunch. Julie walked over and invited her to sit with her and her friend Heather and the girl introduced herself as Michele, she told them to call her Mikie, because that was what her friends at her other school used to tell her. The reason I am telling you about this story is to tell you if there is a person that you see often who is all alone, don't sit there feeling sorry for them, go over to them and talk to them, try to be a friend. I believe that inside everyone there is a good heart, you just have to find it. God can help you do that if you invite him into your life, you will never be alone again.

Fcats!!

This Monday and Tuesday at school, we have Fcats. They are tests that the whole of Sarasota, public schools have to take. You do not take them in Elementary School only from 6th to 10th grade. In 6th and 7th grade, there is only the Reading and Math Fcat. When you get to 8th grade, then you take the Science Fcat as well. To pass the test you have to get a score of at least a 3. There is a possible score of 1,2,3,4 and 5. If you do not pass this test, that doesn't necessarily mean that you're staying behind and repeating the year. They compare you average quarter grades with the score that you get on the Fcat and then they take it from there. I really don't want to go today or tomorrow because when it comes to tests, I freak out sometimes. So please pray for me this week.

Job

I want to talk about Job, because he is one person that I truly admire. Whenever, I lose something, or something doesn't go the way I want it to, I always seem to blame God and never thank him for the good times. This verse really makes me think:

Naked I came from my mother's womb, And naked I shall return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed is the name of the Lord. Job 1: 20

Sorry this post isn't very long, I just wanted to remind you to worship God at all times.

Friendship

Hello again!!!

I am going to be talking about friendship today because my friends mean SO much to me. Do you have different kinds of friends? I do. I have BESTEST friends, BEST friends, and I have, FRIENDS! I know, I know! There's no such word as BESTEST, but my friends Janece, Ari and I want to create our own dictionary! How interesting, huh? Once we get if started, and finished, I will post it. Be prepared for what you might read! Anyway, back to friendship. No matter what types of friends you have, you want to have some of these qualities in your friends: Loyalty, Love, Kindness, and someone you can share laughs with (even if you are talking about some of the stupidest things ever!) How do you tell who your friend is or not? Good question. Sometimes, it's pretty easy to tell, but sometimes there are people who I call (PRETEND FRIENDS a.k.a PF) A pretend friend is someone who pretends to be your friend!! Go figure! They might be pretending to be many things, maybe they hang out with you because they think you're popular, or maybe because people treat them differently when they're around you. Sometimes, when you have a BEST friend you tell them deep dark secrets! At least, I know I do, but you know, it's not always a good idea to tell your friends EVERYTHING and here's why. Say your friend tells you a secret that could get him or her in trouble, and then you promise not to say anything. Often, those kinds of secrets are the very ones you should tell someone about. Even though, you might lose a friend because you told on them, at least you know you did the right thing by telling someone about it. That way, you will feel much better, your friend wont get in trouble and even though you might lose and friend, there is always someone who will always be your friend and that is GOD! So I encourage you to not keep some secrets that are told to you by someone. That's when telling who your friends are comes in, your real friends, wouldn't be mad at you for telling on them, (and if they are don't worry they'll get over it!) but would thank you and appreciate what you did to help them. Whenever you feel like your friends will never talk to you again always remember that Jesus Christ will always be your friend and will never leave nor forsake you!!!

God's Love and Righteousness

Today I was thinking a lot about God's love for me. Have you ever thought about God's love? I mean really thought about it. Not just say, " Oh yeah, I know that God loves me." I mean, thinking about someone loving you so much, that they would give up EVERYTHING to bear your sins. I thought about it, and, knowing my parents love me so much, but to know that God loved me so much to send His only Son to die for me, is really incredible. I know a lot of the time, I take Him for granted. Just because He will forgive your sins, no matter how big or small they may be, doesn't mean we can sin and say " Well, it's ok, God loves me, and He will forgive me, I know He will." NO! That DOES NOT mean to go ahead and sin anyway. If you think that, then I'd like you to read and think about this verse:

For God so loved the world (you) that He gave his only begotten son, that whoever will believe in him, shall not perish but have everlasting life! John 3:16

That is one of my favorite verses about God's love. This is also a great verse:

For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:23-26

Please think about these verses, and I will be praying for those of you who do not yet know Christ.
